We purchased our dehumidifier initially to keep our valuable cameras dry. We soon discovered however that there were many more benefits. It is excellent for keeping humidity and mould out of our unit.

Within 24 hours of setting up our dehumidifier moisture content in our house dropped from 89% to 69%. Once we got rid of the mould on walls, clothes, inside of wardrobes, the back of bedside cabinets (… the list goes on), it never returned. When the moisture meter we purchased goes above 60% we simply adjust the unit's setting to bring it back to 60% (the level at which mould stops growing). The unit operates all the time - we simply empty the container each morning and afternoon. Buying the dehumidifier from Moisture Cure has been money well spent.

We had a problem with mould growing on shoes, leather jackets and briefcases. Since running the Suki Dehumidifier all that has been eliminated. The house has lost its damp feeling. We don't need to use the heaters as much in winter. There is less dust accumulating on surfaces. For some time we experienced condensation on the inside of windows in winter. An added bonus for us, not having a clothes drier, was that during a recent spell of rainy weather I ran the dehumidifier in the laundry, directing the air outlet onto the inside clothes line. Our home after using the Suki (Dehumidifier) in every area of the house is just great. The room I use as an office was cold and musty. NOT ANY MORE! Without a word of a lie, from the second night of sleeping in the dehumidified room I have not coughed on going to bed. Previously I had coughed every night for nearly two years - also in the day. The Suki Dehumidifier has made a great difference to the whole house. We were finding that our thousands of books were beginning to get mildew marks on them; the linen cupboard was breeding mildew. The carpets also had a slightly damp, cool feel to them - great conditions for breeding dust mites.
