What surface coverage should I expect from the Concrobium Mould Stain Remover 2-bottle system?
The regular sized Concrobium Mould Stain Remover system will make approx 1.5 gallons of cleaning solution. Expect approximately 300-400 sq. ft. of coverage from this 2-bottle system. The smaller size will cover approximately 100 sq. ft.
Concrobium Mould Stain Remover comes in 2 bottles – do I need both?
Yes, both bottles are required. They contain different ingredients, and both bottles must be mixed with water for the solution to work.
How do I apply Concrobium Mould Stain Remover solution once mixed?
The solution is to be sprayed onto the stained surface utilizing a pump sprayer or airless sprayer.
What are the ideal conditions for applying Concrobium Mould Stain Remover?
The best results are seen when the solution is applied where surface temperatures are above 50○F or 10○C. Avoid direct sunlight and ensure that the product is mixed with warm to hot water (80-100○F or 27-38○C). Prior to using Concrobium Mould Stain Remover ensure that the surface has been cleaned of dirt and debris and maximize the surface dwell time to increase product efficacy.
How does the Concrobium Mould Stain Remover help to physically remove mould contamination?
It is scientifically proven to detach growth from surfaces allowing efficient removal by HEPA vacuuming.
Does the degree/extent of contamination determine the amount of Concrobium Mould Stain Remover to apply?
Yes, the greater the extent of the growth, the more important surface saturation is and the longer the dwell time required on the surface.
What type of surfaces can Concrobium Mould Stain Remover be used on?
It is safe for use on most hard, non-porous or semi-porous surfaces such as wood and composite wood, concrete, masonry, plaster, grout, fibreglass, tile, plastic, laminate, aluminium and metal.
Why do I need to wait 30 minutes after mixing, before applying the product?
The 30 minute wait period allows the formula to reach its peak effectiveness. Continually stirring throughout this period allows the crystals to dissolve quickly and increases the efficacy of the solution.
Will the solution damage or discolour the surface once applied?
No, when the solution is mixed it generates a peracetic acid at a low percentage of 2% so the solution is not corrosive and only targets stains. We do, however, recommend testing on an inconspicuous section if there is a concern.
Once applied, will the solution leave a harmful residue on the surface?
No, once mixed the solution breaks down into water and oxygen.
What if I have hard water; will that impact the effectiveness of mixing Concrobium Mould Stain Remover?
No, mineral content that makes water ‘hard’ will not impact the product’s effectiveness.
