How much is a dehumidifier?
- There are various sizes of dehumidifiers to suit different situations. The price varies according to size, from $30 to $1500.

How big are they?
- The average home dehumidifier stands approx 61cm or two feet in the old scale.

- Small 12 kg
- Medium 15 kg
- Large 17 kg
- Medium and large have castors for easy relocating

Are they noisy?
- About the same noise as an overhead fan on medium to high speed.

How much do they cost to run?
- Small units 3-4 cents per hour
- Medium 5-8 cents per hour
- Large 8-10 cents per hour
- But all units contain a humidistat and control which enables a specified humidity setting and automatic off and on.

What size do I need?
- Medium or large units will usually be enough for an average-sized home. Small units are suitable only for small areas.

How long will they last?
- We have machines that we sold 8-9 and even 10 years ago that are still in use.

What do I do if it breaks?
- Moisture Cure carries spare parts for all models in current range. Repairs and service are carried out in our own workshop.

How long is the guaranty?
- Parts and labour 2 years for some models, 3 years for others. We also offer an extended 5 year warranty extra.

How do we go about purchasing a Moisture Cure dehumidifier?
- Our dehumidifiers can be purchased online from our website where a safe and secure payment system is in place. Alternately you can order by phone, fax or email or directly from our showroom.

Do you deliver anywhere in Australia?
- Yes, anywhere in Australia, and at no extra cost.

Can we operate the dehumidifier when we are not at home?
- Yes, they are as safe as your fridge. Our larger models can also be continuously drained into an outlet such as floor waste or sink.

Will the water collection tank overflow?
- No, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off when the water recovery tank is full. Of course if you have connected a continuous hose option the water will bypass the tank and siphon through the waste drain to wherever it is directed to.

Is the collected water safe to drink?
- We don't recommend using the water for drinking as it may contain contaminants present in the air. However this water can be used for watering plants, filling the washing machine, bathing pets, washing the floor, etc.
